S.C. businesses will come together today for the first-ever S.C. Clean Energy Summit in Columbia. This is good news for a state poised to lead in the business of delivering secure and cost-effective energy solutions. It’s time to stake South Carolina’s claim as a key supplier of clean-energy technologies. With global energy demand expected to rise 40 percent by 2030, we can’t miss out on such job-creating opportunities.
The summit will bring together clean-energy businesses in the state to share progress and capitalize on business opportunities. It will pull together a unique blend of manufacturers, entrepreneurs, small-business owners, educators, researchers, consultants and public officials focused on clean-energy development and economic growth.
